Please check the compatibility for some reason Greenworks has 2 version of their 40volt battery

I think both version are compatible. I had both version of batteries as well as tools. There is no problem using new battery in old tools and old battery in new tools.

Some if not all new battery has USB port built in.

Great deal in my opinion. The name brand battery is over $100 by itself. I almost want to buy this just for the battery and to have a spare push mower. Next spring it will be more than 2x as much $$.
