Why call it the 17 when it's only 15ft tall? Kind of Misleading

seems like a deal, the 26 ft variant never seems to go on a decent deal.

If you can swing the extra $50, the version with the Levelers is worth a look: https://www.costco.com/little-gia...00838.html

It is 15ft it states in the specs, 17 is just model # as the reach is considered 17.9ft, and there might be some legality on reach when you go up to 18, but they can't just assume everyone has long arms or tall enough to make it to 17.9.

It's all a big game when it comes to these. There is no rule or regulation what they can call their product or number it, they can call it 25 as long as they don't mention it's 25 ft or 25 lbs or etc.

I have this ladder. Got it for the same price $150 Costco in-store in mid-July 2023

It's very sturdy and well-made and of course a lot heavier than a typical household ladder. I found the extra reach (in 5 step height) very helpful in changing the HVAC filters on the ceiling.
