I don't think this is a good deal unless you only need one or two wrenches.

These wrenches are sold by a lot of brands (Icon, Mountain, Platinum, etc). They're all made by Kabo in Taiwan. The long size provides a lot of leverage but the ratcheting mechanism isn't very strong so the popular advice is to buy these where you can easily warranty them. Northern Tool isn't going to stock these anymore, and Klutch is the house brand at NT, so their warranty is worthless.

The original price was very high and the clearance price is mediocre. My local Northern store had most sizes in stock and on clearance, to replicate the Harbor Freight Icon set (8mm to 19mm) was $120 while the Icon set was $168. For me saving $48 wasn't worth giving up warranty coverage.
They also have this set for $24.89, just in case anyone interested...

I purchased two metric versions of these, about a week later I got a email saying they were both out of stock and and discontinued.

For the 11/16"-3/4", 3/4" is close to 19mm for practical purposes. There also exist "square drive socket caps", which allow converting from 9/16" hex to 5/8" square, and 3/4" hex to 1/2" square. This is the primary use I have for my old SAE wrenches, but probably doesn't justify purchasing new SAE wrenches.

I just hope Klutch uses a far more refined machining on the these hand tools, as compared to the Neanderthal type machining on my Klutch 1 ton arbor press gears.
Great price on these xtra longs if they do.

Apparently the downvote is by someone who loves crappy machine work.
It figures.

What application is spline drive even used for? Isn't this used in Aerospace and niche applications only?

This is way more useful for 99% of people: https://www.harborfreight.com/14-...67994.html

The HF wrench linked is pure garbage. It is so thin I can tie it into a pretzel. Totally do not know why people think it is a useful tool.

You've never used it. And no, you cannot tie it into a pretzel, nice try though.
