Hi. Can you comment on how well the case seems designed against impacts and falls, especially the corners.
A different company, Ballistic, used to make decent cases with extra protection for corners, but apparently they stopped making cases, and so I am looking around again. Thanks.

I got one of these a few months ago and have already moved on to a different case. The wallet loosens up and cards start to slide out too easily. Also the leather is so easily damaged. Mine was scuffed up beyond looking good after just a few months.

I am looking at the SE cases, and the website has almost no info to gauge whether the case is designed for protection and not just for the looks. E.g., I cannot tell if the case creates a raised lip around the screen, so that the screen will not scratch if the phone is placed (screen down) on a table.

That's how leather products work. Typically, with real leather, you can buff out some of the scratches. The goal is develop a patina that shows the age and wear of the leather.

To those who have one… do these cases have the raised camera protector? Some of the pics show it and some don't.

I'm thinking of getting one but want to confirm before I pull the trigger.

Agreed, which is why I was looking forward to using a leather case, but the quality of these is extremely low. The leather didn't patina and age like say my leather belt, but instead shredded and flaked. If you look through some of the previous Bullstrap threads there was a link to a Reddit thread where the CEO said that they've had to clearance out a large batch of cases that didn't meet their quality expectations because they switched leather suppliers.
