I have another smaller foldable huffy bike that only has a 250w motor on it. I only weigh 140lbs. It gets me up to 16 mph on the motor alone easily.

As someone who's looked into getting or making an ebike these are sent to your home for the price of just the battery. And to emphasize that, a huffy replacement battery is $300.

You can upgrade bike parts easier/cheaper than upgrading car parts but I'm sure most people would be fine with whats included.

That's 100 watts more than is legally allowed in Europe. Their 250 watt ebikes are just fine, so why do so many Americans think they need so much more...

I have a 250w ebike that can take me to 16mph, and another one that can go 28mph. I feel as though the faster one doesnt provide enough exercise. While the slower one is well, too slow. So I needed one with enough of a light frame to get my legs pumping. The 350w huffy fits the bill. Also, you forget how fat many americans are. A 250w motor is kind of a joke in the american market. Albeit I only weigh 140lbs.

Can they power a bike up the steepest hill that a car can go up? I do not want something more dangerous than a dirt bike but I am interested in something that can go up hills at least as steep as a car can.

California, USA allows electric bikes to have motors as strong as 750 watts.
