Anyone know the nits on the display? I don't see it listed in the product specifications.

Thanks for that. On a flagship product like this, I'm disappointed that they didn't go 500 nits. I've owned laptops from 300-500, and trying to do work in a bright room or with the sun shining through the window is quite a chore. I probably would've jumped on it at 500 nits.

I pulled the trigger on the m18 a few days ago - after tax and 10% off and the $200 off business I ended up paying 3100 after tax for 13980 & 4090 1440p

I went with legion pro 7.
1. Cheaper price: $2511 plus student discount+ cash back+ Amex offer end up $2050 for same spec(4090+32G+2TB)
2. Better screen:500 nits vs Dell 300 or 350nits.
3. Chassis: I personally not a fan with Dell's chassis with a "backpack" which makes it looks more squarish than rectangle

Ultra notebook review measured it at 330nits in the center, but only 291nits in the bottom right.
It does have perfect color coverage; 100% sRGB, DCI-P3, and AdobeRGB. So, if you plan to use it in a dark room, it's perfect.

Dells definitely are rated by nits 😜
Perfect for new pc users who need a calculator in the dark an have too much cash.
