    We've bought dozens of bags of the version of Full Moon Jerky that you linked (I do mean several dozen). In recent months no matter where we get them from (Chewy, AMZN, wherever), they are either dry when I open the bag or dry up within 1-2 days, turning them into hard to break/jagged chunks. Have tried storing in the same bag it comes and in other various containers. Nothing works. You can read reviews and see the same. I'm done with that specific item (the "basic" chicken jerky this company makes), and would highly NOT recommend to anyone that they get it.

    Through that buy 1 get 1 50% off I'm trying two of their other products (one of them is the item in this thread). If they are not fresh/soft, I'm probably walking away from Full Moon for good. It's a shame because I do believe their ingredient quality is good, just not interested in paying 2-3-4x as much as other treats to give my pet what we now refer to at our house as the Full Moon Dusty Cardboard Jerky.

    Ha thanks, I thought I was doing something wrong! But I'm actually fine with this, because it means the jerky is harder to bite into and my little dog needs hard things to chew on to keep his teeth healthy.

    For my dogs the Amazon Wag brand (the jerky cuts, not the soft chew) is still the best I've found.

    That's very fair - it's not dangerous, just annoyingly dry especially compared to in the past. Are the Amazon jerky cuts more pliable/less hard?
