I no longer trust this store. I bought a bunch of epoch batteries here. Something like 20% of them were at less than a volt, and another 20% between 1 and 2 volts. Everything was able to charge, some requiring a lab power supply because my chargers refused to work with them. I don't know how longevity or capacity has been affected. The reviews for this battery all say the same thing, including mentions of talking to customer service, so the company is aware of the problem and shipped them out anyway.

It was these specific cells:
https://www.18650batterystore.com...-25p-18650

I see a lot fewer dead-cell reviews than I remember, and all the ones that mention dead cells are 4 star reviews. I really think they weeded out low star reviews. I looked at every 18650 cell and they all appear to have an average 5 star rating. Digging through I can't find a single review less than 4 stars. It's the same with chargers, and every other item I can find. I call shenanigans on this whole website.

You realize there is a discount if you order 1000+ right?

You can solder to 18650 cells, I've done it. You have to first remove the oxide layer before attempting. And to the guy that wants to repair his electric yard device you need to first know the voltage of a fully charged cell in order to buy the correct replacement. The battery management may not like any random replacement voltage, depending how good it is. I've also seen where the bms may not work at all after the pack has been taken a part, like never work again.

You need to have a really good soldering bench because to replace a cell in a high voltage tool battery you will need to desolder the whole pack, find the bad cell, then resolder the whole pack. Its a nightmare. Of course those packs retail for such a high price it might be worth it, but just to warn you, it will NOT be easy.
You don't solder, you need a specialized battery spot welder with nickel tape. You can buy one will a roll of tape for around $70.

Soldering lithium batteries is dangerous too.

I can't be the only one who's never heard of an "18650 battery" (a brand? a battery type?) so I looked it up - there's a battery size comparison in the second picture:
https://commonsensehome.com/18650-battery/

I don't have any devices that use this size battery and all I can say from an outsider's POV is that absolutely everything *seems* super sketchy (though I'm not saying it actually is):

- the name "18650" battery (yes, I know plenty of batteries have unintuitive names like CR2032. Though I've never heard of a store that sells ONLY CR2032)
- the store name 18650batterystore.com
- the barely branded Samsung casing. It's like buying a a box of "Toasted Oats Cereal" with the word 'Cheerios' typed on it with a dot matrix printer in some random place
- the warnings use up more space than the product description
- some of those reviews of the store site:
Example 1: "First, I will always buy my batteries from 18650 Battery Store. 18650BatteryStore cannot be out done."
Example 2: "Works perfectly in my vape !" (first thing under description says NOT FOR USE IN E-CIG OR VAPE)
- some of the reviews on the first page of this post

If you know what you're talking about go ahead and buy what and where you want, all I'm saying is that from a newb's POV the marketing of this product is atrocious and should be used as a textbook example of what not to do

I've bought 21700's and 18650's from them and have had no issues. Just make sure you have a decent charger.

Can I buy these cells to repair my battery pack for the yard blower
I've done it sitting at my kitchen table with a $20 soldering iron. It took about an hour to figure out. You might need a Dremel for some battery cases. Wear gloves and eye protection.

Although I am very late in comment (and jumping on 18650 train) but I too got these and they are 3.54, 3.55 and 3.56. But I think that is the reason some of these are little cheaper. No one can keep them charged if they are on the shelf for 6 months or so. I need input on battery charger. Which charger is most popular? Same for the spot welder, my tips, tubes and covers are coming in a month from PRC. Thanks.

Bought NITECORE through flebay (new), was cheaper than Amazon.

this is a "product" for those "in the know" - marketing takes a back seat to safety, this is not something you just buy because they can cause fires if you don't know what you are doing.
