Amazon has same deal except they have a pre-order price guarantee so if price drops between order and ship date they will refund your form of payment for the difference. They also have a 30 day return policy vs 15 at Best Buy. I purchased and if OLED goes on sale I'll return this one.

Amazon had this years ago. Now they want you to purchase a new one and return previous one. Price match isn't as easy as it used to at least from my experience.

I updated my post. I meant pre-order price guarantee. Not price match.

Pricing from a while ago isn't really pertinent for me. I didn't even want one until the last couple of weeks.

No, if you don't mind getting a JP version, you could get OLED model for under $300. Mario kart 8 game could have a discount in the holiday, could be $40. Plus in 2024 there might be an announcement for the Switch successor.

I am sure they are working on a new console but the "Switch 2" has been reportedly coming out every Thanksgiving for 5+ years. If they were launching something this year it certainly would have been announced by now.

As far as Nintendo is concerned there is still plenty of blood left it this beet.

Do the strong switch sales numbers seem odd to other people? I feel as though this many years into a console that it should drop a bit. Do people buy multiple consoles or something? I'm not saying it's a bad system. I just don't understand the strong demand still at this point.
