I can't speak for this model, but I had purchased Panasonic RZ-S500W when it was on sale on woot, and it was way better than any other brand of ear buds under $150 in terms of sound quality and comfort. I'd give this one a try in a heartbeat, except I have too many pairs already.

I second that. I have the same Panasonic buds from the woot deal. I have the Anker Soundcore Liberty as well. The Panasonic wins all day.

I do not trust Panasonic as a brand anymore. I would rather buy Anker Soundcore than these Panasonics.

I learned it hard way that putting money in expensive TWS earbuds is purely waste. Your earbuds are good as long as it's battery. Most budget earbuds batteries fail around between 12-18 months mark. Better to buy these anker's which are like 30 bucks and have 18 months warranty. They get very competitive when it comes to the feature list and does not put a hole in your pockets.

No app so you'll be unable to change the touch settings like you can with Anker sound cores

Genuinely had good experiences soundcore .... I have two motion booms, Liberty 3 pro, life u2, q30 .. but the company is starting to get a little excessive with their marketing claims especially with the new x600 speaker which they keep claiming has spatial audio (it doesn't, that's not even possible on Bluetooth currently to get licensed for Dolby or any other official spatial audio... Just hasn't upward facing speaker>.

And they're starting to become almost like raycon with the excessive YouTube ads that make it hard to find any videos that are not literally ads. They are very restrictive in what they allow their promotions to have. Creators can't even compare it to other soundcore products. And of course you had the whole issue with their sub brand of front door security cameras misleading customers about cloud-based data storage. It was why Linus tech tips or line is media group had to drop them as sponsor..

I do love the products I have but I'm starting to feel the company is losing me because of their shady and aggressive tactics.

And more practically speaking while I loved the tuning of the motion plus and the motion boom, The motion boom plus and the x600 have had all sorts of firmware up dates that radically change their sound signature. Sometimes adding a penetrating and unpleasant peak at 6 kilohertz.

And then sometimes fixing it and then sometimes bringing it back..

Alan Ross has done a very good job of covering some of the problems. He was the creator that got me into their products initially convinced me to buy a pair of motion booms and pluses.

I do think it's not a great product to go for premium prices especially at launch. Only are they destined to be in a landfill in anywhere from 6 months to a few years.... But in many cases the price is plummet after 6-9 months.

The Liberty Air 2 pro was 130 bucks MSRP and you can find it for 30 bucks now. Perfectly serviceable active noise cancellation, ldac. Liberty 3 pro was $160 at launch and you can find it for $75. Find the Galaxy buds pro or the Galaxy buds 2 for 60 bucks occasionally at woot.

But of course even that is a lot of money for something that's going to be in a landfill in a few years. That's the great thing about buying wired audio, cuz you treat it well and especially if it has a removable cable you could have it for decades.

But I see people spending $300 $400 on TWS and I think it's crazy. This point I don't think I would spend more than maybe 80 bucks at the highest end.

Personally I prefer the neck band form factor but those are really gone out of style. Beyer dynamics, Phillips, and moondrop seem to be the last players left. 1more, soundcore, OnePlus, Sony... They are ditched the form factor.

Same. I think I paid $38 for the Panasonic RZ-S500W from Woot 2 years ago. They have become my favorite. The sound quality and ANC are way better than I expected.

the free shipping is calculated based on the after coupon price, so $10 shipping fee is not worth it (unless you buy 2). Amazon has it for $65, just $5 more, and has a much easier return process.

I bought from that same Woot deal too, but unfortunately the volume on of the buds has dropped to almost unusably low levels. And even if I can hear anything from it, the gain is completely out of sync with the other bud. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this I'm all "ears", but in the meantime I picked up a pair of Anker Liberty 4 NC for $80 on Prime Day. They're decent but maybe not as good as the pannys when they were working and they certainly don't seal in my ears as well.

Any reason why? Panasonic has not let me down yet. Even when I thought they would let me down, they came through with an out-of-warranty replacement ...

I agree that Anker has some great products, but I wouldn't rank them anywhere near Panasonic.

Like most of us I have tried and own way too many earbuds. Anker's are good budget buds, actually really like the Jabra Elite 85t (for well under $100 on sale) but the one thing I'll really give the Panasonic is the fit, it's extremely comfortable and easy to wear for extended periods. Didn't expect amazing sound but I was pleasantly surprised it was good enough and fit was a huge win

Literally had the exact same experience. But if you left bud is the one that works, I'd buy it from you!
