I buy my usb cables from China an not only are they usually excellent an cost well below Amazon usually, . They even have some awesome stuff I never seen in America. Like I have a snake an dragon tipped one. Nice hard metal. An their eyes glow. An the cables come in assorted colors which is major importance when running basically a server farm amount of electronics as a modern house probably has. But yeh. I'd like to see legit review.

My wewatch was only about 60$. An it performs as if it were. Cept who sells 60$ projectors anywhere? Only issue is its audio output has a lag an i bought it for music production knowing the speaker would have to be bypassed. Also never buy a long throw unless it's ceiling mounted an has keystone correction. You will have to sit to the side. That's why I look at these. Also my wall I chose aren't far enough apart to get a over 80 inches due to long throw.

I'm posting this from a PC using a $10 HDMI cable from Amazon.

It was $10.

LMAO Great comment. I'm sure you are an expert in the UST Projector space. Can you break down the current top 3 in your opinion? I'd love to hear it, maybe I can learn something outside of my own extensive experience and research.

Sure can. My cat's breath smells like cat food.

Seriously though, this is just a fly by night front for some Chinese product with some paid reviews and some well written press releases. Anyone who pays more than $20 for one of these, let alone $2K, is a fool.

The Best Buy review section is all paid shill reviews.

If you want, you can pop into the Delray Beach FL strip mall to pick up some Fro-Yo and visit their ONLY BUSINESS location:

Do you own one? Have you seen one in person? How many UST projectors do you have experience with? What do you know about the different brands and their technology? I'd like to know. If you can't answer any of these then nobody needs your random opinion based off a google maps link to one store. I'm betting LG and Samsung had a single storefront at some point in their existence.

These are just handwaving BS whataboutisms that don't change the fact this is just a random Chinese laser UST that may have been put into a custom case. I'm 150% sure it's some off the shelf guts from some China company, supported by some dudes in a strip mall in Florida.

Are you being paid by the company to promote this product? Do you have any idea how manufacturing vs. product reselling works?

GoldStar was a South Korean electronics company established in 1958. The corporate name was changed to LG Electronics and LG Cable on February 28, 1995, after merging with Lucky Chemical. LG Cable was spun off from LG Electronics and changed its name to LS Cable in 2005.[1]

GoldStar manufactured a wide variety of products, including radios, televisions, air conditioners, MSX home computers, LCD games, videocassette recorders, video and audio cassette tapes, microwave ovens, electronic typewriters, integrated circuits, escalators, elevators, injection molding machines, dehumidifiers, and tractors. GoldStar televisions became a commonly sold brand of consumer television sets in the United States in the 1980s.

In 1938, during Japanese-ruled Korea, Lee Byung-chul (1910–1987) of a large landowning family in the Uiryeong county moved to nearby Daegu city and founded Mitsuboshi Trading Company (株式会社三星商会 (Kabushiki gaisha Mitsuboshi Shōkai)), or Samsung Sanghoe (주식회사 삼성상회). Samsung started out as a small trading company with forty employees located in Su-dong (now Ingyo-dong).[16] It dealt in dried-fish,[16] locally-grown groceries and noodles. The company prospered and Lee moved its head office to Seoul in 1947. When the Korean War broke out, he was forced to leave Seoul. He started a sugar refinery in Busan named Cheil Jedang. In 1954, Lee founded Cheil Mojik and built the plant in Chimsan-dong, Daegu. It was the largest woollen mill ever in the country.[citation needed]

Samsung diversified into many different areas. Lee sought to establish Samsung as a leader in a wide range of industries. Samsung moved into lines of business such as insurance, securities, and retail.

In 1947, Cho Hong-jai, the Hyosung group's founder, jointly invested in a new company called Samsung Mulsan Gongsa, or the Samsung Trading Corporation, with the Samsung's founder Lee Byung-chul. The trading firm grew to become the present-day Samsung C&T Corporation. After a few years, Cho and Lee separated due to differences in management style. Cho wanted a 30 equity share. Samsung Group was separated into Samsung Group and Hyosung Group, Hankook Tire and other businesses.[17][18]

In the late 1960s, Samsung Group entered the electronics industry. It formed several electronics-related divisions, such as Samsung Electronics Devices, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Samsung Corning and Samsung Semiconductor & Telecommunications, and opened the facility in Suwon. Its first product was a black-and-white television set.[19]
IF AWOL (such a stupid name) is still around in 2070 I'll consider buying their products.

It should be noted that I have no problem buying a $10 Chinese HDMI cable or a $100 mini-amplifier, etc.

There are crap $20 Chinese projectors but this one is not one of them. A $20 projector wouldn't have the features this one does short throw, 4k native, 2500 lumens, triple laser, ect. Don't believe me check out this review https://www.projectorscreen.com/A...n-laser-tv

Pretty goofy response. You got a lot of posts on SD, are any of them worth anything? My area of interest here is pretty narrow. What is yours?

Again you should do some more recent research. AWOL (stupid name agreed) has won multiple awards in the last year. They are one of the only UST projectors who has recently received Dolby Vision certification that will be out as an update at the end of the month. Their customer service and dedication to the product are better than most companies, including the big names. I'm not a paid spokesperson. I happen to be very knowledgeable in this particular space. I've owned several UST projectors and this is the best one I've ever experienced.

This "$3499.00" unit is now on sale for $1350. I wonder what the wholesale cost is out of China?
