You'd do better to buy a standard plug-in floor fan to move sure through the garage. The larger the fan blades, generally the more efficient it will be. You're paying extra for the rechargeable battery feature on this model.

Nice find, but no info on what the actual battery capacity is.

Looks like it can be used as a USB Power Bank, as well. Would come in handy for camping, but likely only be used a few times a year...

It comes with its own AC adapter. Thought you could at least charge with any USB cable, but that's not the case. Looks useful though.

Does anyone have this fan? I am asking because I am wondering if it would be sufficient to move hot air in an oversize 4 car garage? We have an upright freezer and refrigerator in the garage and I have been worried that they are going to be ruined by running them in a hot garage. This summer has been brutal, and I have opened a side door and back door of the garage to try to get air movement in there, with limited success. I have even kept all the doors closed during the summer, thinking it would stay cooler that way. Limited success there too. Would this fan be helpful with the side and back door open to move air? Or, would I just be moving hot air? Or, would I be smarter to buy a larger 20" floor fan on Home Depot that is a plug in and 3 speed? Maybe someone has the same problem.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

If you look at the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) in the Product Details - Additional Resources, it states the battery is the common (Chinese brand) 18650 size at 2600mAh.

I would think a handy person might find a way to replace this with a higher capacity battery, like a Samsung 4000mAh. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it appears it has a battery pack, which would require cutting it open and gluing/melting it back together.

If it were me I'd just go for a standard box fan. They are efficient(ish) and move a ton of air. This looks like it would be most useful if you need a fan where you don't have an outlet handy or are constantly moving it around.

It does have a battery pack - YouTube review of similar model https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sJ7FMRl6mDI&pp=ygUvSGFtcHRvbiBCYXkgMTIgaW4uIFJlY2hhcmdlYWJsZSBEQyBIViB... [youtube.com]

Already have the DeWalt 20V fan for portable air moving, but the misting version here caught my eye! In for one to give it a try. Im sure I can easily increase the battery capacity if needs be.

I've been waiting on a deal for the DeWalt 20V fan for camping. Tempted to try this at $40 though.
