Patiently waiting for their better trade in deals...I realized I only paid $99 for the s7+ to s8+ upgrade which was a good deal to me...paying $500 for the s9+ trade in is just meh.

Yes.. 5% only for student/work. Probably worth waiting for a week (or buy and return if we get a better deal after Apple sep12 event) to get it for $99 kind of deal similar to s8 deal last year and s7 deal a year prior without trade in.

I can't get the keyboard to be free, but a $60 bundle discount stayed after removing keyboard, making it $540

Once I logged into my account, the option to add a free slim keyboard cover became available. Also, the price dropped to $284.99 (trading in S7FE) because my account gets First Responder discount. Not a bad deal since I am getting an upgrade to 12GB memory and 256gb storage.

I believe September event is for the iPhone but not for iPad. Probably have to wait till February when Apple announces new iPads.

I just placed an order about 5 minutes ago. No issue getting First Responder discount and reducing the price to $284.99.
