remember the metal wheels are worth $15-20 themselves.

Free shipping for Plus members, along with the online price being the same as in-store. Make them bring it to your door. You do lose out on the 2% Sam's Cash for ordering online vs buying in-store though.

I have a couple of these and love them. We have one in a pantry where we buy Sam's/Costco quantities of most toiletries/cleaning supplies and store them. Another is in the garage where our gardening stuff is stored (heavier/larger plant pots, etc). A couple shelves have grow lights hanging from them - the design is pretty convenient for that as well.

No experience with the wheels. I don't use those. For the pantry shelf, we have it high enough off the floor that we store stuff underneath it, but that also makes it easy to clean under. It doesn't hurt the stability for it to be ~1.5 feet off the ground.

These are nice if you have them in a garage/carport that you clean with a blower.

This vs https://www.samsclub.com/sams/sho...age%20Rack for 89$? How would you rate it? Thanks and reps.

Both have adjustable shelves (this one 1" increments, yours 3"), but the one in this deal is rated for more weight, plus it comes with the casters for rolling it about. I'd get this one unless for some reason you don't want open shelves.

Thanks and repped.
Silly question - would having the (locked) casters be some sort of potential safety hazard on slightly uneven garage floor? From a tipping or rolling away perspective.

Where's a good place to buy caster wheels for the Hyper Tough shelves like this from Walmart? I went to Harbor Freight and the ones they had were to small to screw into my shelves

The problem with that one is the thin particle board shelves. They WILL droop with time, especially if you have something heavy on them. It would be better to make plywood shelving for it but then you're way over the price of the metal shelving.

i've purchased them from various places, like amazon, walmart, ebay, etc. the heavy duty metal ones run $15-20 for a set of 4.

Depends on a lot of factors, but if the floor is not level and you're planning on loading it down I'd simply not use the wheels as they indicate the unit has leveling feet to deal with unlevel floors. Makes it less mobile, but gives you full capacity. I should have noted earlier that the weight capacity with the wheels installed is significantly less than installed just sitting on the ground.

Thanks and repped. In that case I'd just go with the cheaper one. It would be an overkill otherwise if we are mostly storing kids toys, seasonal clothing, holiday decor, etc.

Whatever works. But that other one doesn't have leveling feet, so might wobble on an uneven floor. And as someone else mentioned the shelves may sag over time.

Decisions, decisions ....
