You can practically build a 7600/6700XT for roughly $900 and that'll smack the shizz out of this.

7600 - $180
B650 - $120
6000 CL30 G. Skill X5 AMD EXPO $90
6700XT - $320
Thermalright Assassin King - $18

Or under $750

5600 - $130($100 all day long)
B550 - $85
3600 CL16 16GB - $44
yeah but your computer has no case, case fans, PSU, storage and has no windows license

Instead of throwing ballpark numbers for hardware, go to pcpartspicker with the specified parts and post your lists please.

How does this system compare to a PS5 in terms of graphics, load times, etc.? I have a 9 year old who is really wanting a gaming PC sometime soon, but I keep telling him his PS5 is more than enough. Am I wrong? He uses keyboard and mouse with the PS5 at times, but the YT gamers have him convinced he "needs" a PC.
a 4060 is way stretched for 4k gaming, unless everything is watered down onto lowest settings). a ps5 or xbox sx is doing fine on 4k gaming.

And if you need it now, I'd much rather this Legion

Why? It has a worse processor on a dead platform and a much worse hard drive. The only thing that's better is the graphics card. And that's only a small improvement. And it's more money.

So now we have two i5-13400f / RTX 4060 builds to compare: this one and the $1000 CyberPowerPC from Costco. The extra $150 buy you twice the RAM (DDR5 instead of DDR4 too) and twice the storage (32GB DDR5 + 2TB SSD). Plus Costco's support/warranty.

My take: Neither one is really a deal at these prices. With the Costco deal being $1000 regular price, this config shouldn't cost a penny over $850 anyway. And even then I'd just wait for the Costco PC to go on sale.
Thank you. I ended up buying this one from Costco. Will see how it works but am hopeful. I build my last PC but don't have time right now and needed one. This looks like a good enough value for the cost, especially when considering time. (FYI one of the deciding factors between the one from Costco and the Skytech is that the Costco's CyberPowerPC is considerably smaller - that's what I was looking for)
