I paid $8.29 yesterday, and then immediately after saw there was another deal (before fees, but with coupon) for mid-$6 or so. Granted went out of stock real quick before I had a chance to buy.
Yeah, so going off of what happened to you I think I'm going to just sign up for Ultimate and then add the codes I bought off of Eneba. I thought of doing what you did because I would have liked to only pay $9.99 and then add the Xbox Codes since I have no need for Ultimate but oh well.
That was my initial thought too since upgrading the Gold to Ultimate would just convert what you already had, but it upgraded the PC pass too and charged 16.99. Glad to be the guinea pig for that!

Lmao. Sorry. That being said if I was you I would contact Microsoft. I saw some people on reddit said they would use like 20 days of their 1-month game pass and Microsoft still refunded them in chat/email. So if you contact them and just ask to refund Game Pass PC and just pay for Ultimate there is a chance they would.
In for 2 to extend my sub through 2026. This translates to less than $5/month for Game Pass Ultimate which is the best deal I've gotten all year for existing subscribers.
I have 6 months on a current XB ultimate sub. WIll I have to make a new account all over again to take advantage of a deal like this? And lose all my game saves and progress?

No, just activate the 3 month codes on your current membership, it will translate automatically to 50+(1-2) days due to different months of the year
Does anyone know when they stopped doing a 1:1 upgrade to ultimate? I recently ran out of ultimate, but I didn't buy up right away, I waited about two weeks and then bought 3 years gold, and a month of ultimate thinking it would convert all three years, but it only gave me 25 months.
It happened sometime between the middle of August and the first week in September, but I never saw anything announced.
This seems like a really good deal because the way I did it was find the cheapest 12 month gold keys, then setup a VPN to activate them (and a cheap month of ultimate) it worked out to be about $100 for 25 months. This price is comparable and no "sketchy" trickery to worry about Microsoft just cutting your account off
The conversion rate change from 1:1 to 3:2 happened same time as the Game Pass price increases in July, but Microsoft never announced the conversion change.
That's why I keep saying they may change them again with the upcoming Xbox Live Gold transition into Game Pass Core.
Hey man. I'm sorry that you had to go through that but in the end you saved me (And I'm sure others) from doing the same thing. So thanks a lot for real
Eh, the other poster still got their 1 month PC Game Pass converted to GPU (and apparently more). Yeah it's not as cheap as simply converting only Xbox Live Gold to GPU, but no money was lost.

If you have been reading this thread carefully, you'd know the best deal is to buy and redeem a bunch of Xbox Live Gold codes FIRST (3 years max), then sign-up for Game Pass Ultimate. You'll get a conversion rate of 3:2. If you sign up for GPU first, then redeem a bunch of XBL gold codes, the conversion rate is worse (~50 days GPU for a 3 month XBL Gold code, you do the math).

I was gonna buy just (1) 3 month XBL Gold Code for my little brother just because he only wants to play Starfield. So since I am only getting 1 for him does it matter when/how he activates it? like can he just buy/activate Ultimate and then add the XBL Code or should he first add the XBL Codes and then buy Ultimate

I applied 10 of these to our Game Pass Ultimate and it wound up extending the subscription for 519 days. Not sure where the extra 19 days came from but we'll take it!

The global key was sold out, so I used this one that was US specific and it worked great.
