Home Depot's been price gouging wiring for so long it's about time they made their prices competitive again. I've been ordering from Amazon at prices 40-80% cheaper. Still less common sizes are ridiculously overpriced - for example 100 ft of 10/2 at Home Depot is still $200 but $130 on Amazon.

FWIW - for those with a Menards nearby Home Depot, Menards' price is $85 for 14/2. Then, need to do their 11% rebate.

Did that years ago with Lowe's coupons but then the electrician wouldn't use my stash on a rewire project. Gonna have to build an awesome she-shed.

I'm getting $75 at my local Menards plus the 11% off would make it "cheaper".

If I'm not mistaken 14/2 is more for lights than plugs and/or shouldn't be used in as long of runs. I try to stick to 12/2 unless need even bigger wire like an oven or something.

Just for up charge. I mean if it's a sealed roll anyway.
