Now that I've developed a shoulder issue (frozen) and frequent chrio, PT and massage, I've contemplated a massage chair.
The issue, besides they are expensive, heavy and bulky, is that it's really hard to get apples to apples comparisons, difficult to test the prospective models in person, and the whole industry has a very scammy feel to it, a lot like mattresses.
Ocean State Job Lot (regional job lot store) has had 3 different Osaki chairs on sale for what feels like a couple years, except these are all free*. Free, as in they give you a special gift card for what you spend on the chair, so I'd only recommend buying them if you frequent the store anyway. The models are Osaki Titan Summitt Flex SL-Track, Pinnacle and Apex AP-Pomp, each for $3000. Yes, they are "overpriced" that is you could probably buy them outright elsewhere for less, but you do get that $3000 "gift card".
The issue? I'm a massage chair novice, and I can't find a site that compares each of the 3; heck it's hard even finding one or 2 of the models anywhere else at all, a lot like mattresses are.
Tough to spend $3000 and not be able to actually try one, and even not able to find someone that could give a decent review on trying each of them.
