Yeah, ruined this deal for me. I understand them using these displays on low end laptops, but the Thinkpad line doesn't deserve 45% NTSC displays.

Are you on the same planet as the rest of us? The MSRP in 2012 for the Macbook Pro was $2199. In todays dollars that is almost $3000. This laptop is $549. If you want a better screen, then go pay more money. What do you think you are going to get at this price? EEK!

The 2012 Porche 911 can go from 0-60 in 4 seconds. Why can't the 2023 Toyota Corolla? Confused

I'm really glad that you put the RAM as soldered in this post. I love ThinkPads. I have multiple. I just can't justify this purchase for myself.

This seems like an excellent deal for most people though.

I believe one slot is soldered and one slot is open.

Get out of here...Its $549 for 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD. Screen isn't terrible either at 300 nits. Many at this price range are 250.

You want a better screen, you're going to pay more. Find me a better deal with a "good screen".

You might be right but I think that's just for the Intel ones. I think both are soldered in the AMDs

Very rare to see one of these pre built with a WWAN LTE card. It's almost always a custom order if you want one of those. I have an Intel t14 g2 and custom ordered it with a quectel card... think I paid $1100 2 years ago, with a 4k screen. The LTE card is awesome because I have Internet anywhere via a Verizon line for $10/mo

I'd recommend a 15.6" with a numpad

It comes with a 3 year warranty, which is a surprise. I think I like this better than the Yoga deal I ordered (which has been delayed), but I already used my AmEx offer. I don't think I can get it again. Anybody have any ideas about that?
