Is there a typo in your 1st sentence claiming "then YOU never open your machine up"? Because I do. I do a thorough cleaning and descaling when prompted which is about every 3 months. The waste grinds get moldy after a few days.

No , I - apparently wrongly - assumed you're someone who is aware mold buildup and consequently cleans all accessible parts meticulously but is entirely unaware of mold at/in the inaccessible parts.

See "other sellers" and select shipped/sold by Amazon. It seems to bringing up another seller for some, but still shows as available from Amazon for me. I guess inventory could be regional. Currently $270.99 from Amazon

In Delonghi's defense, my XS has made me multiple coffees every day for the last five years with no hiccups.

Does the wifi app have a timer function? I want to be able to set it for morning coffee when I wake up?

Also it has the same same internals as the tchibo? I had to return it cause the coffee was not strong enough.

Do not use oily dark roast beans in super automatic machine. It's harder to clean out oil residue
