Plus microcenter cpu motherboard ram combo, 12900k for $400, or 13700k for $550. you can sell a motherboard for a ssd and power supply. That makes your whole build for $900 or $1050. Aliware has 13700k plus 3070 desktop for $1300 but only has 16gb ram. Good deal if you like the case? 3070 is similar performance to 6700xt which cost $320 plus a case at $75.

I'm new to desktop PCs, but I know the 4X is better than the 3X GPU. Other than the price, is there any performance improvement between these two? Like a 20% jump? For future proof, 4X is better, but I'd consider 3X due to the price. By the way, I see a few of 3080 or 3090 on sale here, but not with 3060, or 3070?

Worth the two hour drive to the micro center? I'm mainly concerned with best value.

Only play Diablo, WoW, etc at 1920x1200.
