Lo and behold, when I saw this offer, I logged onto the AT&T site to "Change my plan" to see if any new options come up. To my surprise, it shows 1Gbps Fiber at $10/month, 300Mbps Fiber at $40/month. Naturally, I signed up for the 1Gbps service - let's see if the pricing stays as stated. Otherwise, I've been itching to get faster speeds via xfinity anyway.
Bundle with wireless for $60
Plus with the codes, brings the giftcard to $150 for Online order, $100 for the FALL10, $50 for ACTNOW = $300
But there is no $55
Bonus Deal: If you are a Bing user, add another $125 in Bing rewards, by shopping AT&T internet through the bing cashback offer
There is also a class action lawsuit in Texas regarding this because people were never paid what they were promised when they switched/ started new services.
Seems the rewards department is probably tracked on how many rewards do not get paid out and how much they save the company.
Most people are too busy (like me) to remember or care. Only reason I called was I saw this deal pop up and it reminded me. And others probably don't want to have to call and deal with arguing with someone who speaks broken English just to get what they were promised. Great deterrent.
Quite the racket att has going with this one. What a shit company.
Someone really needs to punish ATT for this scam and their ineptness.

On to this deal, would it work for me to cancel my existing service and open a new account under a new name?
