I called ATT and asked for Retentions. I currently have 300 speed Fiber and asked if a current wireless and fiber customer could get this deal. The CSR looked at my account and he said I qualified. He changed my plan to gigabit fiber and I got the email confirming that I am only paying $55/month after the discounts. He also said that I qualify for a $100 gift card which was a nice surprise. I live in the Ft. Lauderdale area so it's not just for San Francisco.

Did you sign up for wireless phone service as well ?
I did not selected the AT&T wireless offer but I still received the $55 promotion (see screenshot)
where does it say you get that price for a lifetime? I have ATT internet, fiber, 1 gig - and they;ve increased my rate TWICE in the last 6 mos. I'm actually putting off calling them right now because i hate hate hate their customer service.
This thread reminded me why i moved away from ATT fiber; its so nuch headache to get the actual advertised 1gig speed.
AT&T fiber requires you to use their "gateway" which is their modem/router combo. I never was able to get good wireless speeds with it, it limits how many devices can connect to it, and I only got the 1gigabit speeds when hardwired. Running your own wireless router is actually handicapped in IP passthrough mode, so you need to do a trick with a dumb ethernet switch to bypass the gateway completely.
I was a ATT customer back in April this year and disconnected the internet. Is there any restriction or conditions for the Gift Cards? Am I eligible for gift cards if I re-apply for the ATT internet with this offer?

Unfortunately, sometimes AT&T reps are dishonest at time just to get you to sign in. I would watch the first/second/third fiber bill like a hawk.
Unfortunately they are very much liars. Have fun spending 20+ hours on the phone with reps, starting at zero every call, to get anything escalated/resolved. They're shady by design The FTC should down on them hard, but I won't hold my breath. Beware the never-appearing bill credits (along with gotcha terms). F*ck at&t, big time.
so i got 3 home internets at 3 homes. One is $50, one is $25 (Mine) but then i managed to get the 3rd one go from $50 to $40 but that user still pays me $50 because i worked for that promo. haha
I left them because of their dishonesty and bill changing every month.
I have wireless and apparently theres a change where I use to have auto pay & paperless discount with cc $10 off/line but now it is only $5 off/month. To get back $10 off I need a debit card/bank account lol

BEWARE signing up for AT&T internet service. They have the ability and tendency to cancel your account for "repeated policy violations", won't give you any evidence nor explain, and continue charging you fees thereafter.
Are you torrenting a lot by any chance? That'd explain their behavior.
