do you have a screenshot of that? is 300mbps a fiber service?
fiber doesn't need to cap data, which is why you typically won't see it.
I do! I have no idea why this showed up though. It literally list unlimited internet while there's 1 TB at the bottom.
At least, I'm currently using more than 4TB of data monthly but didn't get charged anything.
I have $55 plan well over a year and still $55 every month
may be one off case. router is charged , sometime they reduce the speed in plan to keep the $$ .basically shft you to lower speed plan to keep the same $$. check if you are in same speed plan.
Another thing is sometime they offer two years router fee in plan.
another thing is ATT do the local pricing /offers if you have alternatives available in your location.
I did one of these promotions for the $300 gift card, after months of back and forth emails and phone calls with reps the best they could offer was $100 off my bill instead. Absolutely terrible, I was on the phone with them for a combined 30 hours. No I do not value my time well I wanted my damn gift card.
This is true, to get any dispute addressed you end up spending several hours during multiple calls to customer support.
Everytime you call them, you speak to a new person and they ask you to explain the issue from scratch again. There is no way you can ask them to talk to same person that you spoke last time. This is by design to discourage customers reaching out to ATT customer support.
I am here to rant. There is a monopoly in my neighborhood on Fiber. I about 2 blocks away from where they STOPPED running new conduits for alternative company's to install new fiber, including ATT. Its so frustrating to be stuck paying, without any real options. There are 100's of homes they missed by not extending the new conduits a few extra blocks.
Same here. No fiber on my block, only one provider (Spectrum) that massively overcharges due to having zero competition. Down the block the average bill is half of what I pay for the same level of service.
Sometimes the monopoly is enforced by the city due to fees paid to the city by the provider. Sometimes it's enforced by the HOA for the same reason.
It could be worse, though.
I've got a customer whose house is stuck with DSL at a max of 1Mbps download due to the HOA. He and several of his neighbors will have to try to force the HOA management to allow for cable and fiber to be brought into their neighborhood. I advised him to get Starlink, but the HOA might not allow satellite dishes.
Wish At&t Fiber was in my area because seeing how some of you guys are paying under $60 for Fiber is making me feel salty lol jk but I have spectrum & i'm paying $105, used to be $100 but they added $5 this year but my plan is only 500 mbps. Spectrum is considered the best provider in my area when it comes to internet because some companies want to charge you $50 just for 100 mbps. I don't need fiber since everything still seems fast in my house but if I could get Fiber for the same price that i am paying now then I would switch over. If I wanted Fiber with specturm they want to charge me an extra $20 a month so my monthly bill would be about $130 after fees. I do get the router for free though lol

Yup no Att fiber in my area yet so stuck with spectrum and paying almost $30--$50 more for 500 mbps compared to some one with fiber with ATT.
Not available in my area. And even if it was, I'm wondering if it would be some QCI 8 nonsense like T-Mobile's internet; though I guess this is different because it's using actual fiber lines and not 5G wireless.
For 1 year and then it eventually goes up to 89.99.
Nothing stays the same. Great marketing
I am a recently new AT&T customer (signed up for fiber 1gig internet 3 months ago, along with 2 unlimnited wireless lines)
I pay $80 per month for the 1gig fiber. Is there any workaround to get the discount? Especially since I already have 2 wireless lines
It's only available for new customers. And, I believe it's attached to the service address.
I selected option as some one moving into the house. Used new SSN and Name on the account. I do not see the codes on order page though. It has only installation discount.
