anyone has this tool. i have the m12 jigsaw version and the faceplate angle keeps on shifting on me during cuts even though it's supposed to be locked in place. very annoying

There's a new M12 version coming out soon if it's not already available... apparently much better all around.

Well add my voice to yours. The face place jumps all over the place on my M12. Very difficult to use with any kind of precision

There's a screw under (above?) the plastic plate to adjust the tension on the shoe release lever. It'll vibrate loose over time and need to be snugged up every so often.
$110.62 if you purchase from the tool-only page and add the 5.0Ah battery.
First time seeing "This item is only returnable in store." on one of these. I usually do store pickup and let them return when I don't. Does it work differentlt if I go in and say I dont want the battery? Will the charge me unhacked price?

I have this, grabbed it for $100 a few years ago. It has been great for me. Cuts everything I've gone at, including some metal. The oscillating gets pretty aggressive but you can adjust it or turn it off. One day I'll grab the milwaukee barrel grip jigsaw.
