Return the battery and get the light for 75 bucks. Best deal I seen ever. Add the M18 Flood light as a free tool. Once you get both items shipped to you. Return the battery in-store. Or you can try to call them and cancel it.

First time I'll be trying to "hack" and I'm interested to see how the Customer Service counter interaction goes.
As noted by other commenters - seamless return. Read them my order number, they scanned box, credited my account, handed me a receipt.

In case others didn't know - this only works if you return the item to store. Can't mail it back apparently.

Thanks OP and all y'all!

Yeap me too....
You just go and return whatever you don't want. Since it's online I tell them I don't have a receipt and swipe my credit card. One time I walked out, put 1 item in my car then went right back in to return the batteries. They can't stop you from returning it.

Sorry newb here. So while this says free tool, the only tool you can choose is the pack out flood light?

I'm not sure how to proceed with this deal. Can someone help me. The link send me to a page with M12 12-Volt Lithium-Ion 4.0 Ah and 2.0 Ah Battery Packs and Charger Starter Kit. Do I just add to cart and checkout as usual?

EDIT: Nevermind, just figured it out... laugh out loud
If you go into the store this battery kit is actually on sale for $129.99 with free gift

Took a look but will wait for a sale on the M18 version. That one looks more useful.
I see the M12 as sold out, but think can do a similar hack with the M18 battery and flood light

I see the Mounting Floodlight at $88 or the other M18 Floodlight at $72 if you return the battery kit.

People are going in and walking out with merchandise without paying. Passing the cash registers (and all of us suckers waiting in line)

Employees can't do anything but watch or be reprimanded. Criminals face no negative repercussions.

If they give anyone trouble for this "hack" they probably new.

Limit 20 btw

But seriously for a home owner what practically does this have? Better off purchasing their other lights. Plus no usb c is disgusting

Thanks for looking but I want the packout triple light with built in charger. Waiting on a sale for that one.

I have social anxiety but it's always been fine. They really don't care. Deals like this have been going on for years and there's no way home Depot isn't aware. If they were losing money they would've stopped hackable deals long ago.
