I bought 6 of these so i could take advantage of free shipping, and a 15% discount to give some to friends and family, cause I roast coffee. There are some issues with this grinder, but at the price point, there will be the same, or worse issues on similar models.

- Grinds everywhere. You can hold a cloth under the burr opening, remove it, and shake into the garbage can, but some grinds get out during grinding. There is no getting around this, besides perhaps designing your own rubber gasket seal.
- You can't put the container back on the machine, and keep the rubber top closed, there's not enough room.
- Static is pretty bad on the machine. You can spray them with a fine mist sprayer, but you will still get grinds sticking.
- Grind uniformity is not that great. Don't expect to grind french press, and have mostly large pieces. There will still be some powder.

How i use is to weigh, and grind your beans you plan on using immediately, then wash the container of static skin and grinds, Then I hold a cloth under the burr attachment, detach it, and shake it into the garbage. Wipe down counter and surface, and its ready for it's next grind.

For the price, great little machine. But if you use this often, you will eventually want to upgrade to something better.

And all European brands are making their devices in China anyway.

Some have better quality, many don't.

Ive had this one for over a year now and not had any issues. Best part for me is how easy it is to change grind sizes and times.

Got one, I like the idea of the grinds dropping straight down. My current burr grinder tends to clog at times on espresso grinds (comes out at an angle).

ALSO; EXTRA 15% OFF WITH COUPON CODE "BLOOMING"

I bought this many years ago, and the one I got only lasted a year or so before it stopped grinding properly. I took it apart and cleaned what I could, but no luck. It's not very user-serviceable, so keep that in mind. If you plan on grinding coffee for the long-term, investing the extra money in something like a Baratza Encore may be the way to go. That costs 4-5x as much, but being entirely user serviceable, it's a one-time investment and still isn't too expensive.

That said, there are things I like about this grinder. One of the best features is how the grinds dispense. It's the perfect height so that you can fit a V60 underneath it and grind directly into the filter. That is something that I miss.

I just was notified by Amazon of a settlement with Mueller for falsely presenting itself as an Austrian brand, I had a smaller one of their grinders and it overheated and broke when I ground a bunch of coffee at once. I did probably 4 cups and it was like, NO. (2 cups of ground coffee for my husband's iced coffee and 2 cups to fill my jar for daily brewing) I upgraded to a larger Krups and it just died last week after 3 years. I had to go to Walmart and buy what they had, a small Hamilton Beach one. I'm still trying to troubleshoot the Krups.

Same here. I'd bought this a few years back and it ran just fine and I liked it very much until it just stopped working three months later. Just dead. I'm tempted to bite again but think I'll sit this one out. Maybe Wink

I bought this exact model and I would not recommend. Grinder is very messy and will leave grinds all over your counter no matter how careful you are. Coffee beans occasionally will get jammed in the grinder and you will have to open it and push them down which will leave a mess. The little jar that the grinds fall into will develop a lot of static and grinds will stick to the side. Only way to get them out is open up the top and scrape them out, which will leave a mess. Mine lasted a month before it broke.

I like my OXO grinder. Not messy, no jamming, and easy to clean.

I want to see the reverse, European companies pretending to be Chinese, but fooling nobody, like Baƶfeng or Schenkzen or Chang & Olufsen. Then the circle will be complete.
