As soon as I got to the first spaceship battle sequence, I got so annoyed that I gave up.

I put 10 hours in… I'm a Bethesda fan… but this game is just clunky and boring… will not play anymore… waste of time.

Bro 😎 nothing to knock you but from day one I knew from what I read about all the features this game has to offer I knew it would be too damn clunky going into this game with a controller setting lol had my keyboard and mouse set up on my Xbox series x on my desk and damn was I right but I can say this game is good real damn game about only 22 hours in surprised how much is going on this game hopefully 🤞 we can start getting some crazy MODs coming 🔜

Pc is alright biggest change is space battles and changing your power up

You mean "Crashfield"? Looks like the GamePass effect is already ruining sales for this crash prone disaster. Buyer beware that Xbox Reddit critics have not been kind to Crashfield. They're saying the game crashes quite frequently on Series X and neither Bethesda or MS will take ownership of it.

Yeah, most of the problems that people are complaining about are related to the GUI. I have no clue how such a terrible UX manage to slip in with so many people testing it. Maybe it's because it was optimized for their QA testers and they forgot to design it for customers who actually play the game?

I got bad news for you. The GUI doesn't get better with a mouse and keyboard, unless it can somehow be modded some day.

i was hoping this had dog fighting like wing commander back in the day, but there is no radar all you get is a circle with red triangles

the enemy AI is really dumb, they have no strategy and will just walk into line of fire and dont take cover, there are no bosses and im 40% through the game and finally found 1 "boss" and spent like 30 mins trying to kill him - got his health to 0 and then the boss disappears, I then google why, and the answer was your not supposed to fight him and just run.....

They should improve on the dog fighting in the air, I feel it doesnt even match up to pc games made in the 90s

oh and the pc version is VERY buggy, ive had to restart at least 5x already cuz the mission wont let me advance after and need to replay the level

I'm not as far in as you are, but I have been playing the past few nights and I am having a lot of fun.

It is surprisingly good. I enjoyed 100 hours with base. Will play more with modes.

If you have ultimate game pass, you can access Starfield be a cloud or you can play on your PC.

You can also, as of today, play on GEFORCE NOW. If you have a Chromebook you can get 3 months of the 4k tier free on the Perks page

Descent 1-3 and Freespace 1-2 from the 90's on vintage pc and 4:3 screen is way funner!
