I appreciate you giving the feedback that you tried several of these and the quality was that bad. That's good I go to have ahead of time.
However, you're suggesting $39 cargo shorts instead of $8 cargo shorts? They don't seem like a good direct comparison to me. I have no doubt they're higher quality, but it just seems like not the same thing to me.

But isn't this Slickdeals? Isn't the expectation that I would be able to score a supposedly "$39 cargo shorts" (likely made by the same factory in Asia somewhere) for less than $10 here? That's what this community is all about! (Or at least used to be before we started seeing nothing but promoted items). It's about being able to score a good quality item at the right price!!

While I was at it, I simply suggested alternative just in case. And no, they are not 39. The one I bought, I scored for merely $15 after 50%off sale they had in August and extra 15% also works sometimes. The same shorts are still there for about $20 right now. S, and M sizes are gone. I would have bought more if they has S and in different color. The quality I have on couple I bought on sale is amazing, but more importantly, I like the fit because it doesn't make me look like tiny in a well fitted and n8ce fabric.
