These use both Erythritol and Sucralose. Erythritol and sucralose are popular low-calorie sweeteners. Erythritol has almost no calories and does not raise blood sugar levels. Sucralose is much sweeter than sugar and has zero calories. Both sweeteners are generally safe for consumption, but individual tolerance may vary.

The manufacturer has gotten sneaky by making the bars smaller than they were before covid so I stopped buying them

This seems to be standard practice now with all products across the board. They think we don't notice this because they keep the price more or less constant but give the consumer less

I still have my lemon lime box from the last deal. Not a fan of the flavor or the general taste, the dryness and density isn't for me, no flavor can correct that.

No, both are generally unsafe carcinogenic chemicals. In addition, studies have shown erythritol increases the risk of heart attack and stroke. Sucralose consumption has also been linked to leukemia, weight gain, obesity, diabetes, liver inflammation, metabolic dysfunction and other illnesses.

Rather than harmful protein bars containing erythritol and sucralose, stick to high quality, unflavored whey isolate. It's worth the investment in your health. nod
