They work alright. You can't put a whole potato or onion through them. But I've done half onions and potatoes for a quick dice

Depends on the veggie. Onions are the toughest, they leave gunk in the blade. Carrots and hard veggies are easy to clean.

I only use mine when meal prepping or stews because the size is always large diced. even with different blades you need to cut the veggie into short strips for a small dice. it's easier to just dice by knife at that point. For people who aren't good at cutting, this will be way quicker and easier.
