Got this last time it was cheap. It's really nice but it's very large and heavy, at least for my van camping needs. It's very nice though. Everything is stainless and it has a lot of BTUs. Knobs and igniters feel high quality.

Best I could find were some tiktok's that showed it originally in store at Costco for $169.99 and put on sale(again, in store) for $129.99 in recent years

Any comments on this as a camping grill that will get used alot with a cast iron skillet for eggs bacon stews chillies etc and boiling water for tea/coffee etc. Basic camping type stuff. Don't mind the heft to and from the vehicle to camp and being able to use 20lb tank is nice vs the small 1lb that most portable camping stoves use without converting.

Coming from a Ducane Affinity 4200 - the specs show it puts out 48,000 BTUs which this does 24,000. The Ducane is 4 burners and this is 3. Curious if I can still get temps to 500 or 550 on this when going for a nice seer. For $115 + tax I'm tempted to check it out. Also, whats the best option to monitor cooking temp since it doesnt look like it has a built in thermometer?
