From installing Half Life back then with my friend's CD key to signing up Steam client form Valve.... good times.
From a burned game disk! Those were the days!
Living in an apartment complex where one is that lived more central got broadband and one of the first consumer wireless routers as the rest of us got the USB wifi adapters to share broadband speed and cost.
Gave us ability for some halflife death match LAN parties from our own house.... good times!
Edit... playing Counter Strike on shared broadband after playing via 56k for years felt like border line aimbot after all the headshots I was able to pull off.

Oh man those were some good times, had a lot of fun on Gasworks
Original generation Team Fortress Classic player here, from the days of discs and 28.8kbps modems. 200 games in my game library (most of which I've never even installed), yet still playing TFC almost every day. TFC HWG FTW!
