I bet 70% of Apple's revenue can be attributed to product differentiation based on storage.
Buy it if you need it.
If you don't need it, why buy it? If you don't need it, you can wait to see how much lower they go. Of course, you could wait too long and see the prices go back up again, but if you don't need it, you don't need it.
But they're getting so cheap per TB that even if you buy it now and the price drops, you're not going to "lose" a ton anyways.

did you use samsung 970 evo plus in your synology ds 1522+ for cache? Is read-only cache or read/write cache? How is it? Is it noticeably faster? how's the temp? did the temp increased? by how much? what's the actual temp?
