You can always take a baseball glove and mold the pocket to fit a softball.

A2K vs A2000?
A2K is typically their "pro level" Japanese handmade gloves that are a step up from the A2000 in leather quality and craftsmanship. I hadn't ever compared them side by side but my son's best friend got an A2K and it's WORLDS different than the lower level stuff. Most would argue (besides Rawlings folks) that the A2K is the best glove on the market.

Exactly this! Stuff a softball inside and follow whatever process you want to prep your new mitt for play. Rubber mallet, steam, oven, wrapped and shoved under a mattress, etc. There are many different ways to make these very workable for baseball or softball.

Nice! Been needing to replace my "lost" mitt so I can play catch with my son who started LL last year. Went with the A2K infield. Really wanted a first base glove (my old position) but they were sold out of the A2K.
