Not as good. Lesser hinges, lesser latches and different plastic. And considerably higher than half the price.
Shows $2.65 for me bub and it depends on your use.

Anyone use this for hardware like nails and screws? Does it handle the weight and take the abuse?
Same question. I have various screws and stuff in a rack (?) with small drawers. To find anything I end up opening and closing the drawers. PITA. Looking for something to replace that experience.

The Amazon listing for this product says the maximum weight recommendation is 3 kg, or a bit over 6 and 1/2 lb. For a case of this size, that seems like plenty unless you're packing it full of actual lead or something. The Plano cases are nice because the dividers run clear to the bottom and all the way to the lid when it's closed and latched. The only thing that ever seems to cross between dividers are very small or flat things, perhaps like small washers or something. Everything else stays in place.

Hope that helps.

A thin bead of silicone solves the issue of small items moving, and stops the dividers from getting dislodged.

I dont think these are $18 each and feel like $5.xx is the normal price. Few years ago I picked up a bunch of these at like $3.xx normal price.

Been using the Plano 3620 for that, it works great (and these would be the same idea)- you can write the screw sizes in thin indelible marker on the lid directly over the screws, and then erase it when needed with rubbing alcohol

Love these boxes. I use them as travel toolboxes. I can carry assorted screws and bolts, multi-screwdrivers, pliers, anything that fits. Two boxes will stack nicely in the bottom of a soft tool bag with power tools and batteries on top. Everything stays organized and spill proof. Smaller boxes fill nicely with spare parts when I go to the lake. BTW, I don't fish, so I've never bought any for fishing. But they look good for that too.

For anyone like myself clicking on products then thinking of a justification to buy it, these work great to store board game components.

Yep. I have about 15 of these for this exact use and had them for 5 or 6 years. Only one of them has a crack in it...and that's cuz I dropped it! Latches still in mint condition.
