Enough iphone 15 will be available in US, Chinese not buying due to Mate X5 and Mate 60 pro. No wonder pro price kept at $999 instead $1199. Just wait a little many offers will come.

I cannot stress this enough. This is not worth it. Their customer service is *abysmal*. If you have ANY issues, be prepared for weeks of calls talking to people who speak words, but don't understand anything you're saying.

I actually called in to cancel my mobile service because it would not let me do it online and they could not successfully port any numbers I was trying to bring after 3 weeks. They cancelled my INTERNET, and left my mobile active, even after I specifically said "I want to be clear, I do NOT want to cancel my internet services." and verbally confirmed that with them twice. It was an absolute joke.

Most likely it will be same as apple, you'll need iphone 14 pro max 1tb to get full $830 back else get $100-$200 back

Can someone list the cheapest used phones with highest trade-in value? Thanks in advance.

Also why it says Samsung S21 5G is not eligible for trade-in. I thought it is not that old. I am trying to get an iPhone 15 Pro though.. Not sure if iphone needs iphone trade-in.

Did you even check at XM website? You can play around with their trade-in devices to see the price.

I tried with iPhone 12 Pro first.. which was showing trade-in value. When I changed it to Samsung Galaxy S21 5G, got a red message showing not eligible. Will try again.

From my tries, it looks like the trade-in value any phone is lower than the lowest price you can get it on eBay. Not worth trading-in I guess.. $400 off may be the only option now unless you really want to throw away your phone. Smilie

Maybe you're confused. It's $400 off without any trade-in then the extra amount is trade-in dependent. Let's use iPhone X as an example. You'll be getting $600 ($400 discount + $200TIV) in bill credits towards an iPhone 15 series. Can you flip that X for $600 or even $200 on eBay? I highly doubt it!

What I did, ymmv. I bought an iphone 12 used. backup and restore iphone 14. got a cheap eSim. used that while touring europe. when home backup and restore back to 14. Sell 12.

iphones sell on ebay instantly if you price them right. its a hassle, but it saves a ton of cash.

No way is $10 a day worth it. Other option is to turn off data and use wifi and pay by the mb if its an emergency like you need to cancel a reservation or get a map.
So any idea how much service via esim would cost in France? I think my daughter is going to be there 8 or 9 days total. So $10 x 9 days sucks but isn't the end of the world. Just curious how much cheaper going to esim route might be? Also do you get unlimited everything going the esim route? Wil my daughter be able to call us back home here in the US? Sorry for all the questions but this international travel and phone usage is all new to me.

I'm at 10 lines (max) and have a couple lines that are fully paid off and would like to upgrade to the cheapest iPhone that works with this deal (regular iphone 12).
https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/sh...Name=Black
Full price: $529.99
$400 off. Get additional savings with a qualifying trade in.

At the top of the page it says: "Upgrade a device and save up to $529.99 when you pay over 24 months"

It doesn't seem like they are discounting the $400 off if you are upgrading your phone on an existing line on Xfinity Mobile.

Here are the details that make it sound like you can get an iPhone 12-15 and go with "2" below.

Offer ends 10/12/23.
Requires qualifying phone trade-in, and purchase and activation of a new iPhone 12 Family, iPhone 13 Family, iPhone 14 Family or iPhone 15 Family phone (excludes all SE models and iPhone 12 mini)
while supplies last, a 24-month Xfinity Mobile Device Payment Plan Agreement ("Device Agreement"), and
1) activation of a new Xfinity Mobile line within 30 days of phone purchase date
or
2) upgrade of an existing Xfinity Mobile device with purchase of a new eligible Apple phone and activation of phone on that line within 15 days of order.

Existing phone must be paid in full.
Trade-in must be completed within 21 days of device shipment date.
Must maintain line required for offer until trade-in is completed.
Porting of number is not required with trade-in.
Up to $830 in trade-in credits will be applied monthly to your account over 24 months so long as Device Agreement is in effect.
Actual trade in amount varies depending on model of phone for trade in and purchase.
If line is canceled, voluntarily or involuntarily or device payments are accelerated, balance of credits associated with device payment are forfeited.
Back orders are eligible. Out of stock devices are not eligible.
Not valid with prior purchases, returns or exchanges.
May not be combined with other device offers.

If I pick the new line but want to use the iPhone 15 on an existing line with a SIM card, how can I do this with esim? Is it even possible?

Anyone think it matters that on the evry edge of my screen there;s a tiny circle of I guess dead pixels? Someone told me they don't check for stuff like that. That as long as it works and doesn't have obvious bad damage to passes. And if not... i guess they send the phone back and I send the 15 back within x days to keep from being screwed?

Not sure it's even worth the risk just to go from 12 to 15 for $120 and then someone said you pay tax too, but I am not sure how that would work when it's paid monthly. But maybe ytou sitll do even then...

Option 1:
Port out the two numbers to a cheap prepaid provider then buy a new line with an iphone 12 and the $400 discount and port the numbers back in. Sell your old phone on ebay.

Option 2:
They do seem to let you upgrade and get the full $600 if you trade in, so you could buy a used iphone se 3 for under $200 and upgrade and avoid the porting. . Sell your old phone on ebay.

Its a little bit more of a hassle than just upgrading like they allowed last year (last year you could get the 14 on an upgrade and still get the $400 deal).

You pay tax on the full retail price upfront. So $0-$80 depending on your tax rate.

If you solve this let us know. I have the same issue. With all the challenges with XM customer service I am pretty sure this is going to screw things up and you will be in a world of pain.

I am not taking the chance and plan to port out the number and port it back in. I have had some porting issues in the past with XM but if they get all the numbers right and the passwords and stuff it works pretty well. Just make sure you have the customer service rep triple check as they are not very good at data entry.

Think about it this way. porting is something they do every day 1000s of times. moving eSims and converting sim to esim and not screwing things up is not something the typical customer service rep will have ever done.
