I actually called in to cancel my mobile service because it would not let me do it online and they could not successfully port any numbers I was trying to bring after 3 weeks. They cancelled my INTERNET, and left my mobile active, even after I specifically said "I want to be clear, I do NOT want to cancel my internet services." and verbally confirmed that with them twice. It was an absolute joke.

If you're against locked device or long term contract commitment, then that's a different POV.
Xfinity gives you 400 without a trade in. To get 700, they're really only giving you 300 additional for the iphone 11 and it's distributed over 24 months. It is definitely better to sell outside if you're willing to do that.
1. Many offers require the port in of a number within 30 days. Do I have to give them the same number that I will actually port in later? Or could I port in a different number than the one I provide when I sign up? (Assuming they ask for the number that I will port in when I sign up. If not - I guess I'm free to decide which number to port later? Or buy a number to port?)
2. And the same question about the IMEI's of the devices I give Xfinity at sign-up that I plan on using on Xfinity, at least until I upgrade. I know that they ask for the IMEI of the phone I plan to use on their service upfront. Do I have to keep using that same IMEI for a month or so until I get an upgrade phone later? Or could I switch to a different phone and IMEI during that period?
I only have 2 unlocked phones right now, but I plan on trading one of those two into AT&T; I actually bought it just to trade in. I have another phone that will unlock on on 10/31, or I could "borrow" an unused Samsung S21 Ultra from a friend....
Thanks for the help! I'll re-read the thread, I just don't want to make any mistakes with the numbers or phones. It sounds like it could be different to iron out with CS
Cheers!
Those are not unique promo codes, they're general promo IDs for each offer. After you get the promo ID for the offer (following the steps in the image I previously posted) you put it together with the URL like this one
Code:
https://api.sc.xfinity.
(Last eight digits of the URL is the promo ID for the offer) and hope for the offer/unique code to show up on your account after copying and pasting that url on your browser
Once again we still need someone with the $830 rewards offer to share the promo ID for the offer

Wanted to post the terms and conditions on the reward code. Does indicate it may not be assigned or transferred and applies to new mobile customers only.
But this $830 off offer on the iPhone 15 family just doesn't require a trade-in and you get the full $830 discount off the device payments spread over 24 months (as long as you activate the new line and port in a number within 30 days of order date).

EDIT- So I joined, I'm only seeing a $150 off Apple watch offer, guess it means I don't get the 2for 1

And of course we also would need someone with the $830 offer in their rewards account to share the promo ID for the other. This is not the unique promo code each account gets, promo ID is generic one for all customers who receive the offer, for example the one for the Apple Watch offer is 37415574
This is referring to the China market, not for westerners
AAL, bought 14 Plus, traded in Moto G Play 2023 that I picked up for $50ish. Note: only factory unlocked model XT-2271-5 would qualified for this promotion. I was gonna trade in Tracfone SE 3 but this way, I can resell the SE3 for more $.
14 Plus $829 - $600 TIV = $229 or $9.54/month for 24 months. Service cost would be around $3.5/month for tax since I added to the shared data plan with my other 4 low-usage lines. Total cost for the 14 Plus would be around $350. On the receipt, there's a mention of $100 Prepaid card as well but I have no idea what that's about??? If that comes in, total cost will lower to $250.
I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Worst case I don't get the credits and I sell the phone and I am out a couple bucks.
It all seemed above board.
