Do I really want this thing? I've been waiting for this exact type of deal all this time. Is now finally the time? Am I going to regret passing on this if I let this one go? Will I truly be happy? What is my opportunity cost of buying this? Will this purchase yield the best utility for me for the money? Why do I need a third iPad?

That's not entirely true, most Android tablets usually have 32GB or less. I have a 128GB iPad Air 2 from 2015. Its 2023, enough with the storage games from manufactures is all I'm saying.

Engineers use them in the field. Doctors use them in the field. Students use them in lots of places. Point of sale. Traveling.

Not as useful as phone cellular overall but lots of uses for cellular iPads. I personally don't need one but if the option is there for cheaper than WiFi only, I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

This is what I came here to say.
I hotspot my car head unit because it doesn't support Verizon, and my phone gets so hot it stops charging.
Cellular is a fantastic option in any portable device. I have it on my Dell 5290 so I can get internet at work without being tracked by the company.

I prefer 11 inch, 12.9 is simply too big. It looks nice for first few days, but 11 is much handy in long term

Well, my 12.9" iPad Pro came in. Looks brand new, sealed and all, as advertised. Battery was dead, though. It's recharging fine, but I hope it hasn't been dead for so long that the battery life was reduced a lot.

You can see in the settings under "battery health" if I'm not mistaken?

Alas, iPads do not show battery health. Only iPhones and Apple Watches.
