My iPad just arrived 5 minutes ago. It is brand new. Took 4 days to arrive. Charging it right now. I will give and update once I transfer info from an older iPad and use it.

Update: If anyone is thinking of buying this unit I highly recommend it. It took almost 4 hours to charge to 100 percent from zero. The transfer from my old iPad to this unit took about 45 minutes. Everything transferred over perfectly. The picture quality is beautiful. The speed is fast. Sound quality is good.

I've been sitting on this for days. I couldn't get myself to pull the trigger because I have an 11" M1 iPad Pro (just Wifi - no cellular) with Apple Pencil 2 and Magic Keyboard. I love my setup but was being tempted by the bigger screen and the option of cellular, however the thought of needing to rebuy the expensive Magic Keyboard was deterring me. Anyway, the price just went up $100, so I'm out. Best wishes to all who got it.

Price went up another $100! From $700 to $900 now.
That makes my decision easy. No buy.
I would have jumped at 7, if it had 256gb storage at least.

You can edit and save on usbc drive.

This ipad pro doesn't make a ton of sense spending $800-950 to check basic email, play a movie, edit a video clip for social media.

When...
iPad 9 64gb is $180-250, add a keyboard cover for $50
iPad 9 256gb is $440
Windows Tab LTE 256gb is $200, add keyboard for $30-100.

Shouldn't iPad Pro deal for $800 include 256-512gb same config as Macbook M1 base model?
