IMPORTANT NOTE: this is a PCIE 3.0 riser cable. If you're using a PCIE 4.0 graphics card, most motherboards won't automatically detect that, and you'll likely have to change PCIE detection setting in BIOS before using this riser cable to get an image on your display .

If you're using a PCIE 4.0 GPU on a mobo with a PCIE 4.0 slot. If you're using a PCIE 4.0 GPU on a PCIE 3.0 motherboard you can proceed as usual. If you're using a PCIE 3.0 GPU on a 4.0 slot, you'll also need to fool with BIOs. Great deal btw, in for one. This would be a cheap
price for a 24 cm Chinese no-name 3.0 riser.

Just to sum up what the above has stated.

PCIE 4.0 is to PCIE 3.0 of which could be PCIE 4.0, yet might maybe not be PCIE 3.0 to be declared at PCIE 4.0 because that is the way.
