Mine is the i7 version - laptop can be a bit hot if running on max power consumption mode. Does need a cleaning maybe once a year. Harder to clean than some other larger laptops.
Good: The weight and size. The 16:10 helps, and the 16:10 makes the 13" bearable, hard to explain but just makes the window space feel a bit better than 16:9. I run spreadsheets a lot and the 2K resolution is a huge help.
Battery life is around 2-3 hours max, still at 2 hours after 2 years of use.
I recommend especially for those that want a laptop that is good for moderate business travel, mixed with some home desk time. I would avoid touchscreen if you care about battery life. If you are constantly at a home desk and docked - you do not need this. It is also a great laptop if you're the type that sits on sofa doing work late at night, especially with the light weight, and or for coffee shops.
FYI my previous laptop was X1 carbon (have had various gens) - I do not want to go back to X1 carbon anymore, unless one exception, which is, having certain specifications/webcam/other technical things I really need for a job role.

Not trying to pick an argument with you, but you wanted a link so I gave you a link. It can be done, but big companies don't want to do it for cost and profit reasons. How about just admit that you were wrong, but prefer this ThinkPad over that one instead of just dismissing it. Let me guess, Gen Z?

I'm actually looking at replacing the battery and going to 1 TB while I'm at it. I had actually thought the storage was soldered as well until I saw the video on the battery replacement.
1) Turn off PCI Express power management on both battery and while charging
2) Set maximum processor state on battery to 99% to prevent turbo from kicking in
3) Leave maximum processor state at 100% when charged in
It is unconfirmed or verified, but I'm cautiously… so when in doubt leave it out! Could anyone here in IT please comment? Or, "neither deny nor confirm?" 😂
My little brother is in private IT working with banks, and he said it rumor mill. He used to recommend me ThinkPad over any brand, until IBM sold it to Lenovo, then he become die hard fan of Toshiba and Fujitsu for his personal uses.
Yet, I still remember my old man's IBM with floppy disk boot up which replaced his type writer. He was an accountant. Good old days with dial up were over I guess! 🤣

I know Samsung isn't know for laptops but I may consider this if additional $150 is worth returning my Galaxy Book pro and getting this?
I got i7 version (Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano 13" Ultrabook 2K Intel Core i7-1160G7 16GB RAM 512GB SSD) in Feb (for $950, now $720)for my sister and she is super happy... run SAP on it... comes with a 3 year international warranty too...
