The v1200 Super Pack comes with accessories that the 7500 does not. Both are the same discount right now (~50%). If you really want the accessories that the v1200 bundle comes with then that is the ONE! Otherwise...

I prefer the 7500. Primarily because the 7500 is quieter. It has the sound dampening tech of the next gen that the v1200 does not have. Plus, I don't find the extra features of the v1200 useful.

I hope this helps

Rtings has a fairly comprehensive testing process for rating blenders and has the scores listed here:
https://www.rtings.com/blender/re...t/blenders

As someone who regularly makes small quantities or likes to add in ingredients as I make dips or garnishes, I wish they had the 5200 in this sale. It has that elongated shaped container which does a better job of pulling things down, and it's all manual dial controls so you don't have to hope a program gets it right. The Wirecutter explains it well: https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutte...er-review/

If you want all the program features, the Certified Reconditioned A3500 for $350 likely is the one to get. If you want a blender without any program features or digital interface, the 7500 for $300 is solid. Otherwise the V1200 with a mix of digital timer and manual interface would be the choice in between for $330 since you get the extras containers if that is what you want.

TY OP, grabbed a 7500 for my mom. I love the 7500 - as a former Chef this model is my favorite in it's simplicity and power/reliability. Last blender you'll likely need to purchase as long as you don't completely abuse it (and it might last anyway).

Is it possible to get one of the 20 oz cups to work with the 3500? I like the 3500, but the majority of my use will be smoothies and I don't want to have to clean that huge container for 1 smoothie.

Curious, why not the v1200 over the 7500?

The V1200 super pack has a countdown / countup timer, 10 years instead of 7 year warranty, and bunch of accessories for $30 more.

Based on rtings, they seem to have similar performance and the build quality of the V1200 is slightly better - with a more solid metal base.

I don't have either of these but I did a little looking online and it seems like the 7500 has a tiny bit more power and is quieter, the V1200 has better accessories and warranty.

It seems like the V1200 is a much better product for the value.

You can buy the 20oz blending cup for the Ascent series [vitamix.com] but for the $140 extra, you would better off getting the V1200 super pack instead.

I'm having trouble adding the 64oz containers. Anyone having a similar issue?
