I prefer the 7500. Primarily because the 7500 is quieter. It has the sound dampening tech of the next gen that the v1200 does not have. Plus, I don't find the extra features of the v1200 useful.

The V1200 super pack has a countdown / countup timer, 10 years instead of 7 year warranty, and bunch of accessories for $30 more.
Based on rtings, they seem to have similar performance and the build quality of the V1200 is slightly better - with a more solid metal base.
I prefer the 7500. Primarily because the 7500 is quieter. It has the sound dampening tech of the next gen that the v1200 does not have. Plus, I don't find the extra features of the v1200 useful.

3M scub dots fill-able wand works great at keeping the 64 oz container from clouding up from mineral deposits if you blend a lot of greens. The head tip fits down in the corners perfectly.
If just mixing protein powder drinks then a Vitamix isn't needed. Don't even think about buying Explorian.
