These are good especially if you buy the basic model and upgrade the ssd yourself.

Was going to replace screen with higher res deckhd screen but holding off for a bit.

they should have a byo ssd package. that should bring it down to $250 or so. but i do want that anti-glare screen

Well, to be fair, I didn't jump on the deck when it came out. I did pick up an ally, so that'll tide me over. My backlog is 3-4 lifetimes…. Maybe longer since I just got an Anbernic rg35xx….
