If trade-in phone or condition changes, value of trade-in savings will no longer be valid and phone purchase is subject to cancellation
Not all phones are eligible for trade-in and trade-in value may vary; savings are deducted off the full total price of the phone and are reflected in either instant savings or in vendor bill credits, both of which will result in reduced monthly payments for the term of the agreement on your carrier account

Anyone have experience trading in a phone to Samsung that's still being paid off to AT&T? I've got 18 payments left on my S22U and get a monthly trade-in promo discount from the last trade in I did. If I pay it off early the promo goes away. I'm wondering if my phone might be rejected by Samsung because (I think) it's still locked to AT&T until I pay it off. Or maybe AT&T will have a problem with it and penalize me somehow. Not sure how that works.

I did one last year. Traded a S21U to an unlocked S22U (Verizon client). Neither Samsung nor Verizon rejects my trade. I'm still continue paying what I owe on the S21U till this day.
So, uh, my $3.79 S9 Ultra and ($530) Fold 5 shipped on Friday...
My Fold 4 was recently replaced and it's perfect, so I'd likely send back the Fold 5. I don't have a Tab S8 Ultra to trade-in, so if I can get a used one for under $800, the less I pay for a used one means I could have a Tab S9 Ultra for ~$600 OTD (or however cheap I can find one for trade-in), right? Or I could just not trade in anything and have them charge me the $800.
I don't know, something tells me returning the Fold 5 is a bad idea (bundle?). Also, if I just don't return a Tab S9 Ultra, would they charge me $800 + $3.79 or $800 + $379?
By the time I find out, I'll likely be past the return date.
Thinking I should just return all of it...dunno. Anyone else in the same boat?

If you add this phone to your cart and after add Galaxy Tab S9 ultra with S8Ultra trade-in the tablet price will be reduced to 3.95.
It worked for me in app.
So total s23 Ultra + S9 Ultra - (old S22 ultra and s8 ultra) - employee discount = 284 + tax
As I note in the other and earlier thread focused on the combined S23 Ultra + S9 Ultra combo (the only good deal right now), this is all you need: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C4G79QDN
What folks are missing here, discussed in the other thread, is that getting both is "free" right now because there's a $200 difference per device for trading in the newer generation versus the prior generation.
Looks like the spigen case is the only option if you don't want to folk over the $100 from samsung for the cover. The reviews for the spigen is not that promising though. Probably going to have to wait for Samsung to do another 50% off accessories to get the cover down from $100. I am surprised no other companies attempt to do a similar book cover like Samsung by now.
