Whether or not I give citations does not change my statement from being true or false. I'm not interested in doing more research on the topic so I'll leave it up to you to either hold to your convictions or change them, based on your own research. There are lots of sources out there that back my claims. There are some that say otherwise, but they are a minority.

S7 and S8 same trade in value but an entire generation newer, no thanks! S8 value needs to come up, but honestly I am happy with my 8 still. Not happy with my 23, wish I could go back to my 20.

Try a Rotary Tool Kit, it still won't be perfect but can do smaller cuts and with some time it'll look good enough. Should be able to get a set on amazon for below 30

I'm planning to trade in this tab s8 plus for a s9 ultra. Last month, I dropped the tab and somehow the bezel slightly came off but the screen etc is in perfect shape.
Will this still qualify for full value?

You mean a Dremel? I don't see why that would be any better than an xacto knife/box cutter.

I actually bought the only known solution to this problem (caused by greedy Samsung), the Spigen back cover/kickstand, but found it disappointing as its frame doesn't let the magnetic keyboard closer stick as well as the original S8 Ultra cover. So, I'm sticking with that and cutting the holes -- but the magnetic closure of the pen flap will still stay loose because of the magnetic locations changing -- more greedy Samsung.
