An interesting feature of this system is that, unlike many other SFF systems, the MSI platform has historically incorporated a fairly standard-ish ITX motherboard. Because of the laptop brick power delivery you may ultimately be power limited for certain types of expansion (so it's difficult to imagine how to use extra SATA ports, for example).

However, there's something to be said for front USB ports that aren't directly integrated onto a motherboard.
