FYI for anyone who is buying the new iPhone15.. Apple has now allowed Qi2 wireless charging. This is important because Qi2 supports both magnetic AND 15W charging.. but it is an OPEN standard. This is where it differs from Apple's patented MagSafe system which required royalty payments. Official MagSafe chargers are incredibly expensive: https://www.amazon.com/Apple-MJWY...B099BWY7WT

This is important to remember as Amazon, eBay, etc is about to get flooded with a TON of cheap magnetic chargers like this one. But because newer ones will probably support the new open Qi2 standard.. they will charge literally 2x as fast as this one which only does 7.5W. If you are buying the new iPhone15.. I'd highly advise you to wait for Qi2 magnetic chargers as they will be much more useful.

Not an iPhone user, but my wife is! This was for her on emergencies when she runs out of batteries, or when she travels and needs to charge her phone in her purse. (IP14 Pro Max)

(I'm using a s23 ultra from our SD recently, wonderful phone, 2-day battery for me! If it isn't searching for signal)

I mean he's not wrong. I have a magsafe compatible case on my s23 ultra and use a magsafe compatible charger at home and a car mount/charger in my car. My case is made by torras but spigen and other brands make cases too.

You can also get the little ring to add to a case. My car mount came with one for free.

A warning…for me this overheats my iPhone mini 12 and causes it to stop charging because of thermal conditions. It gets really hot. Maybe better with larger phones.
