The fine print says minimum qualified plan is 75/mo. That's where they get you with these "free deals" - locking you in at high monthly rate for 3 yrs.

Quick math assuming you are ok with Visible/Mint at $30/mo - overpaying by $45/mo for 36=$1620, that's what you are paying for the "free iphone".

If you live in an area which has good coverage then better buy an unlocked phone and get a carrier of your choice than getting robbed by these guys for 36 months.
I have an unlocked phone & pay $20 per month for service. Can't be happier.

That used to be my experience as well. But, not anymore in North Carolina. I think the better coverage might be related to the Firstnet network expansion by AT&T.

geez, for the free phone it's 36 months of bill credits. When we got our iPhone 13 it was 30 months.

This is the comment. As long as they are 24 and the other 2 are 36 there is no debate. You should consider the TMO Costco deal. I wouldn't be surprised if TMO moves to 36 soon though.

AT&T is consistently rated just short of #1 Verizon. But to answer your question, all major carriers have an "on us" deal right now ($1000 off with eligible trade-in).

I would love that, but Visible deprioritization makes it almost unusable in our area. I was hopeful and hung out for 5g but it was still shiite after that. So fam is on tmo, business plan is att with plan paid through work. I just gotta scrap for the device savings.

$75 shop card per line with Costco TMO and free activation. 90 day return policy which take it through December 15 Black Friday and Christmas promotions. 2% back on phone purchases?? Does anyone know?

$75 per month + other standard charges + tax will come to $90 or more.
Buy Mint for $25. Can be less if you buy for 6+ months.

Most states had new towers put up for and by Firstnet 👍 I know there were 50 new towers here- Firstnet through work here

You pay 75$/month with ATT. That's the worst deal you can ever get into for 3 years contract being slickdeal user.

On top of you are international traveler, you can't use the phone in Europe .... till it gets unlocked.
